Privacy
Your information should support connection—not become a product.
BeInvite collects the account and profile information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, phone number, broad area, interests, optional accessibility preferences, invitations, attendance, messages, friendships, and sign-in provider identifier when social login is used.
Phone-number discovery is off by default. If you enable it in your profile, another member who already has your number may match your BeInvite profile after explicitly selecting that contact or entering the number. They see your profile name and friendship state; BeInvite does not reveal your private contact list.
When you choose contacts through a supported mobile browser, only the names and phone numbers you select are sent temporarily for matching. BeInvite does not save the selected address-book entries. Your browser requires a fresh user action and selection each time.
Interest discovery shows your profile name and shared subjects to other signed-in members who selected at least one of the same subjects. Area-based matching is off by default. If you enable it, your city, neighborhood, or region can also be shown to those members and used as an area filter. Do not enter a street address, coordinates, venue, or live location.
Accessibility preferences are optional and may be sensitive. You can save functional participation preferences without sharing them. Sharing is off by default. If you enable it, a signed-in member with a shared interest and the same preference can see only the preferences you have in common. BeInvite does not ask for a diagnosis or medical history.
Display preferences such as larger text, high contrast, readable font, underlined links, and reduced motion are stored only in your browser and are not attached to your BeInvite account.
Invitations show the host name, selected subject, description, time, broad area, group size, attendee count, and any accessibility features the host chooses to list to signed-in members. Joining records your account as an attendee. Exact meeting details should be shared privately only after participants connect and establish trust.
We use your information to operate and secure accounts, find shared-interest matches, support invitations, match opted-in friends, provide private messaging, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Social-provider access tokens are used only during sign-in and are not retained in the current foundation.
You may disable phone, area, or accessibility sharing at any time, change your interests and preferences, and request deletion through the data deletion page.
